My mum had a 60th birthday to go to and asked me to make a brooch as a present. After asking her what specifically she wanted she said, 'oh anything will do, just some sort of brooch... just make sure it's appropriate for a 60 year old female'. Not very helpful.
Having a client with no idea what they want can be a double edged sword. On the one had you have complete creative freedom, on the other you have to design from scratch!
Here's what I came up with.
A blue wren made from oxidised 925 silver and titanium, designed from a photo I took whilst on my honeymoon camped at Troopers Creek up in the Northern Grampians.
